Domain Extension:
As we have already seen that a Domain Name has two parts, name and extension.
While user can choose any name for their domain, they can choose the extensions from the pre-defined combination. Every domain name ends in a top-level domain (TLD) name.

Top level domain (TLD) can be categorized as generic top level domains (gTLD) and country code top level domains (ccTLD).
