Sub Domains

Q. What is a subdomain?
A. www.domain.com is a domain name. A subdomain is anything that replaces the www in a domain name. Sub.domain.com is a subdomain., www.Sub.domain.com is not a subdomain.

Q. How do I create a sub-domains?
A. To create a sub-domain login to your control panel and you will see a place to manage and add sub-domains.
READ THIS BEFORE SETTING UP A SUBDOMAIN!
To create a sub domain cpanel asks for the name you wish to use. MAKE SURE the subdomain name you give it doesn't have a folder already named that name. If it does the sub will not work. Example... You want to create the subdomain test.your-website.com so your sub name is going to be test. If you already have a folder in your ftp named test you need to delete it or rename it to something different before you create the subdomain with the test name from cpanel.
